Notes:


This tree is in front of the 1110 19th Ave.S. building, just to the right of the steps leading up from the sidewalk. This particular tree is the largest basswood tree in the arboretum. It has an impressive diameter of 125 cm (49 in.), height of 21 m (69 ft.), and crown spread of 19 m (63 ft.).

Baswood trees can be recognized by their flowers and fruits, which hang below a somewhat odd leaf-shaped bract.
